Meet Rina M. Mehta, DMD

Originally from Skokie, IL, Dr. Rina M. Mehta has been in the world of dentistry for well over two decades. It was during her undergraduate studies that she met the assistant dean of the college who encouraged her to become a dentist. Years later, she’s grown to love private practice because it allows her to build relationships with patients and coworkers more easily. Being able to be part of a passionate team while also creating a positive impact in her community has always drawn her to this career, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Mehta attended the University of Illinois for her undergraduate degree. She later went on to study at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville School of Dental Medicine for her dental doctorate. Today, she has completed over 1500 hours of continuing education credits and remains dedicated to remaining up to date on the latest advances in dentistry. She also owned her private practice in Marietta, GA for two decades as a sole practitioner before joining our team. Other than regularly seeking advanced training, she is an active and proud member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Hinman Dental Society (Team Captain).

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Away from the practice, Dr. Mehta has been happily married to her husband for over 20 years, and they have two beautiful children—one in high school and the other in college. They also have a family dog named Ezekie. Other than treating pearly whites, Dr. Mehta enjoys working out, traveling, walking, hiking, trying new foods, and learning about other cultures. Of course, she also loves spending time with her family. One fun fact about her is that she can speak three different languages!
